Neo Setup & Configuration
Overview
Neo has already been deployed via FTP. This process completes the installation by connecting the database and creating administrator access.
Step 1: Enter Database Details
Provide the required database credentials:
- Database Name
- Database Username
- Database Password
Ensure the database already exists before proceeding.
Step 2: Configure Administration Access
Set the login details for the admin panel:
- Admin Username
- Admin Email
- Admin Password
Use a strong password to ensure system security.
Step 3: Run Setup
Submit the form to initialise the system:
- Database tables will be created
- Core configuration will be written
- Admin account will be registered
Do not interrupt this process.
Step 4: Access the System
Once complete, log in via the admin panel:
https://yourdomain.com/admin
Use the credentials created in Step 2.
Step 5: Secure the Installation
After successful setup:
- Remove or disable the /install directory
- Restrict access to configuration files
- Confirm correct file permissions
